Perch Fishing

Can anyone tell me the differance between the white perch & the white bass ?? People say the white perch taste as good as the yellow perch. I would like to try some. Bailey , to bad the lake screwed you up, could have been a good day.

Top is a white bass or silver bass lateral stripes
Bottom is a white perch. No stripes

I've caught both In lake erie. While drifting and trolling. They both taste good when you get them big enough to fillet
