Happy New Year
Happy New Year everyone. I usually pull worm harnesses. But once in a while I may go deep off a down rigger with a spoon. Sometimes it produces and sometimes it does not. I'll be changing my thought process in the future and give that a try. That was a good site that's loaded with information. When you guys are using a spoon do you put a worm on it? I'm going to be looking for that program on WFN this month. Fish on - I missed the few last SWA meetings. Had things going on. Looks like there was some good info passed on there.
Happy New Year!
We found if you put a worm on a spoon it takes away the action of the spoon. Just a very small peice for scent might work, depending on the spoon. Would have to try & check the action.
Earlier today I took a ride by the Small Boat Harbor to see if any ice formed.
There was no ice in the harbor but what I did see was three empty boat trailers. That's amazing! Some people can say that they were the first ones out in 2013. I give them credit. Milt was that you? I did see ice forming on some of the creeks that feed the lake.
no capt that wasnt me
