The up/ down switch could be bad. It could be losing power/ continuity from time to time. My neighbors went bad that way.

Not sure about connons but on my older big johns the copper contact in /under the rocker switch burned out & I just reversed it (end for end,side for side) & it worked, Been good for a few yrs. now. Something to look at.

I believe that i saw TWO boats out yesterday at the mouth of the Niagra River by Donley's wall. I was going over the Skyway at about 2:00 pm. I was driving and could not look real good. It was a good afternoon. Was anyone out from this site? How did you do?

Perch and eyes it's been on fire there for weeks now . The eyes run around 19" and perch are monster sized. I have good leads and friends fishing it. So i can be put on fish no problem. It's been the best yr there in yrs.

Yup, saw a picture yesterday of perch and eyes. In fact I call the eye a bass it was so fat. The perch all look deformed they're so fat.
