How is the boat traffic out where the walleyes are hitting, is there usually a pack of boats?
The pockets of fish are a little scattered but there are enough pockets that the boats are scattered also, Hit about 73-74' and start dragging lines. It won't take too long to find a pocket and stay there.
Good Luck.

Hey Ken, give dad a call, he's going out for pearch/walleye and needs some help..first time going out this year with granddads rig.
My normal set up for the deep walleye is 350 back on the wire with thundersticks. #1 dipsey at 115 and #3 dipsey at 175-185.
Speeds normally @ 2.5-2.6
Normall dog days of summer setup when I run trips out of Ashtabula.
