night bite?

Oh yeah- I'll be a little south and east of the small boat harbor about 1 - 1 1/2 miles.

Joe got the boat all back together. With the new electronic ignition and high volt coil I gain just over 2mph on the top end. Tried to get out last night around 930. I turned around when I got outside the south gap. Those were some big rollers. So I just played around behind the breakwall. Anybody do any good last night? Saw one trailer in the lot at sbh.

Copo - glad to hear your up and running. Do you launch from the Small Boat Harbor all the time? Or do you have s slip? I know it all too well when to take the turn at the South Gap and find the rollers coming in. Sometimes they are a surprise. There might mot be much wind but they are there. I am dry docked at Sturgeon Pt. - usually

Right now it's blowing 12 - 17 knots with waves @1.3 ft. Last night @ 7:00 pm the waves were 2.6 ft.

I feel a drift if mellows a little heading out around 6 or so. Be on water after 7 i hope.

Hopin to get out this evening myself. Joe I just launch at sbh. Yeah they weren't pretty last night those rollers. No moon, pitch dark and all of a sudden your stomach drops. We went over by the battleships last night. And marked a ton of fish. Had to misses on jigs so not sure what's there at this time of yr. anyone have any ideas on what's there now? I know eyes spawn up buffalo river. Have picked them up on harnesses before at the mouth drifting.

Captian Joe , when you say you dry dock at Sturg. Pt. do you mean in the upper parking lot? If so do you mine me asking how much that is or might be for a 22' boat? Also is there a waiting list for that ? Thank you for any info.
