fished both this weekend, the river was on fire guys were limiting out all over the river is packed with fish and fishermen. I also fished the lake on fri and limited there as well. hot bite was on cone reef also picked a few up half mile off shore, launched out of turtle creek area lamberjacks. Blade baits and hair jigs were the hot baits.
you can jig them off the side of the boat or cast them and let sink to bottom and jig it back to u and reel the slack up between every jig. It takes time to get a feal for it but was fun way to catch them.
