I know it isn't a Walleye report (They will be next) but we did some king salmon fishing in Olcott, NY on lake Ontario and really caught some nice fish I just thought i would share with you fishing peeps. We caught them in 100 to 120 feet of water on spoons and meat rigs with flashers. I added a pair of cannon optimum down riggers to the boat with a fish hawk which i plan to use for walleye as well in the summer when the fish are deep. ball speed was 2.0. lots of fun reeling in these big fish they where all 22 to 25 lbs.
