Asking for some insight on increasing amps on boat.

I'm looking at having my alternator rebuilt/modify. Nothing is wrong with it other than manual tells me its generating only 55 amps... (92 GM 305)

I have been adding new electronics to the boat and feel 55amps is kinda on the low side of things. Hoping to get it bumped to 75/80 amps.

Any thoughts would be apperciated.
