    Default Perch and Walleye

it has been tuff to get a limit of walleye or perch
I have caught many shorts of walleye, which were returned to the lake unharmed
H can and se of G can have been where I have been fishing
the weather has been making it a challenge due to the north west and east winds
soon, with the warmer weather we can see some perch schooling
If the walleye that I have caught were 15 inches, I would have limited out every time I have been out
    Fish On and tight lines~!

Very nice day on the lake
using shiners and spreaders anchored, gold spinners for the drift
fished at H can, white perch and sheep head (anchored)
fished at G can, 3 yellow perch , 8 white perch, a catfish and sheep head (anchored)
did catch 4 walleye, biggest was 14 inches, and smallest, well see picture (drifting for the walleye)
if you go, bring plenty of worms, those white perch really chew them up.

Caught 30 yellow perch at H can using shiners, spreaders and not bling.
Late start but done in 3 hours.
Wind picked up at 1:00 pm, but I was done by then.
One walleye, but a short, release unharmed.
No sheep head or white perch~!
Two head boats were drifting, they made 3 passed from H can, so they must have been catching some gators.
Perch are here~! Come get some~!

Default H can yellow perch and walleye drift

Nice day on the lake and a tuff day for any limits.
Started at H can, caught about 10 nice yellow perch, slow then it stopped.
So we went to G can, caught 3 more, slow, moved again.
Went east, from G can, caught a few more, slow.
    Went back to H can.
Overall we caught 20 yellow perch and the weight was 7 pounds at the cleaners.
Wild Wings said these were the best size perch they had seen today.
There were three of us today, and I think Blackpearl was north of us for about an hour today.
We spent the last 2 hours drifting from H can south and caught a total of 12 walleye, all shorts.
We did 4 drifts, the wind was from the NW then from the NE and then from the E.
Biggest was 14 3/4, the others were about 12-13 inchers.
For the walleye we were using gold worm harnesses.
For the perch, spreaders and shiners.
Anyway, we all had a good time and got plenty of sunshine.
~Hope to be back at H can soon, until then keep the line tight and the spinner spinning.

    Drifting today at H can.
Overcast today at H can and cleared up the afternoon.
We caught 20 walleye and kept 2.
One was 16 inches and the other 18 inches.
Most were 13 to 14 inches, we had one that was just 15 inches but we sent him back to get bigger.
Also, a few small white perch, 4 yellow perch and some very big sheep head and 3 very nice cat fish.
We did get some very light rain, and it cleared up in the afternoon.
I think the overcast made the walleye fishing better.
Gold spinners, erie deeries and night crawlers.
