Lake was almost there for temps and we get another blow from a northerly direction. After that northeaster on last Saturday, the water temps fell up to 8 degrees on Sunday where I fished. By the time I finnished it recovered 3 degrees. On Thursday it was up 7 degrees from Sunday's temps. Lake looked pretty dirty last night and with the reported NOAA temps reported falling, I guess the grass gets cut today. Think that the theme song for outdoor enthusiasts in Western NY should be - What A Difference A Day Makes.

Went out today. Amen, finally, etc. just being on the water was great. Slight south breeze. I tried drifting with a jig head and worm. I was right between Sturgeon Pt. And Albino. There was a big group of boats to the west perch fishing but I stayed to the east. Graphed fish but no takers. Went towards Evens Bar had a few hits but nothing.

Now here's the story. I got to Sturgeon Pt. put the boat on the trailer. Pulled to my designated parking area. Got out and I was securing everything the wife says there is a log under the boat. ??? What? I said that that's what I back up to everytime. She says NO look here. There was a small 1 ft long 6 " dia. log between my boat and the bunk rail on my trailer. ??? I go out and can't catch fish but I catch a log between my boat and trailer in the marina.
There I go back to the launch ramp. Told the attendants to "Take a look at this one" put the boat back in the water. With assistance form the attendant he had a stick and moved the log from under the boat.

Fishkiller top that one!

I have days out there when I don't catch much, and still enjoy it, hard to head back in even.

12 Degrees difference in water Temp. Last year to this year.

that's a interesting chart water temp was even until that last few days I thought ot would been a lot warmer last year

I see that the camera st Sturgeon Pt. "Lake vision" is back up and running again.

Temps fell back a lot. Now there's 9 deg. difference. Was out yesterday and had a 55 Deg. surface reading, exactly the same as the chart.

Has anyone done any good during the day? went out Memorial Day and ended up catching a lot of sheephead
