Default Water Dogs ~ Walleye Report

got 4 milking males just east of toussaint reef in 17 fow using a john deer 1 oz jig with a minnow and stinger hook, nice eaters biggest was 22 smallest was 18 inches.
Be careful how you hold those males, when they get going they are squirter's.
I lost three at the boat~!
I was done in 2 hours ~ light winds ~ very nice day on the lake.
plenty of boats in the area and three head boats that I could see.

Default Too Windy ~ Sunday 4-13-14

went to Toussaint reef today, and it was very windy.
even with the sea anchor I was pushing 1 - 1.2 mph
did manage one walleye, even with the wind and waves.
had a late start, did not leave the docks until 9am
did see plenty of boats in the area, but not too many "nets in the water"
I will be back at it later this week ~ "Fish On"

8 nice walleye, all males and milking.
started at Toussaint reef and finished at Niagara reef.
we managed 4 at Toussaint reef in 18 fow and 4 at Niagara reef in 10 fow.
19 pounds at the cleaners, nice eaters.
we were using purple jigs with a stinger hook and with minnows.
the lake was really great for jigging today.

Default Saturday 4-26-14 (no walleye for me)

went to "H" can, plenty of boats. did see some nets in the water, but not more than that. wind was blowing and with the sea anchor I was still drifting too fast. NO FISH FOR ME.~ Some big waves today 2-4.
They were shooting machine guns at Camp Perry today, so "Range Rangers were out in force"~

Good to see you post something on your walleye board. Looks like you are getting the hang of that trolling thang!
