Dumping Grounds

Fished Sat 6-28 with 3 guys at the Dumping Grounds in front Luna Pier caught 6 nice eyes and 2 small toss backs. We picked up alot of silvers in this area as well. Fised from 7am til 1pm and had to work to get em. We fished with Wiggle Worts best color was Phantom Gren Crayfish. Fished in 18 - 19' of water.

Also fish the swamp area right in front of Luna Pier but no luck there.

There were a couple of charter boats fishing the Dumping Grounds and they seemed to have better luck than we did.

I hear a lot about the "Dumping Grounds", where is that exactly...I keep my boat at MetroPark Marina in Gilbralter. Unfortunately my boat is not set up to troll so I mostly drift with bouncers and harness. Any other good spots to drift? This is only my second year of fishing for walleye and I love it but have only limited out about 4 times those 2 years.

The Dumping Grounds out of Monroe are located between Bolles Harbor and Luna Pier, straight out front of South Otter Creek.
