1/2 mile west of the island got there around noon it took that long to find the perch two hours later 120 in the box I was the only one catching fish with a skipper 9 rig after ten minutes I had the other three begging for one .it was a good day

maybe you can answer a question for me .. I just got a perch rig in the mail from skipper9 .. what is the loop with the bead for just above the bottom hook ..? I'm trying (unsuccessfully) to duplicate it .. I just need more practice I guess ...

If I understand you correctly?

That loop is the top of the rig the swivel on the bottom is for weight.

That is correct . I start with the top hook tie on the second and third hook then the snap . Then I tie the loop and cut it from the spool
