Water Dog looking for the time to look for the Yellow gold (eyes were great this spring)

Not sure if its a go to try for some yellow gold at the honey hole, (I have posted the gps coordinates on about me)
Anyway, may try G can area on May 26th, with some shiners and some crawlers, I have caught a 30 yellow gold at H can in April 15 in the past, but as we know its ever changing weather makes its hard to predict.
I will be out tomorrow, with some shiners and crawlers, and see what happens,

Good luck dog. I used to fish H can often with good luck. Haven't tried it for a couple years now. Haven't had too. I may have to give a try early this year.

Well out today 8am, with shiners, and crawlers. Started at G can, spreader with shiners, worm harness with crawler and an erie dearie (with a crawler).
Very slow drift~and almost no wind.
1 hog cat fish on the gold worm harness (returned unharmed), and 4 sheep head.
Went west from G can head boats and others working it.
More sheep head.
The head boats in the area moved east back to the G can area.
Very calm day on the lake.
And the bugs are starting, not the mayflies just the other ones gnats.
Anyway, I did enjoy it and will be back soon.
I think the water needs a warm up before those yellow gold return.
