Went out today with the wife. We didn’t start fishing until 10:15. Got 43 decent fish by 1:30 so a little slow. Probably threw back more than we kept. If they had been all keepers…

We had emerald shiners from Bite Me Baits behind Wild Wings. In the past, they have been spotty. Some pin minnows but mostly decent ones today. Personally I prefer bigger shiners cut in half as I believe they stay on better.

We were a half mile north of Cone reef in 29.5 feet of water. The water was very clean especially considering the blow we had over the weekend.
