yes you do. Ohio honors other states stickers but Michigan does not.

Side note to michigan orv stickers. Stop by the dnr office on route 2 in the UP. Talking to 3 dnr officers about orv tickers. ? If I drive on the ice and unload my atv on the ice- not on the land, do I still need a sticker. Answer; depends on the officer. not yes or no. True story.

In MI if you ride anywhere but frozen water, you have to have a $45 trail permit for snowmobiles. If you go to MI DNR website, there is an exception if you are using frozen bodies of water for transportation or ice fishing.
