34th Annual Southtowns Walleeyye Tournament 2018 Updates and Improvrmrnts

Myself, (Jim Skoczylas) & Rob Kroh are the 2018 Southtowns Walleye tournament Directors. We will use this post to keep all of you updated on the changes and improvements in the 2018 tournament. Over the next few months we will be posting our changes and improvements for this years tournament which I think most will be happy about. Most of the changes are what our tournament fisherman have been asking about for many years now. This years tournament dater will be June 9th thru June 17th 2018. Lets start with we do have a $15.00 increase in our tournament entry fee. With this fee increase it will be able to pay out 68% more over the top 200 paid places. Our new pay out scale will be based on 900 entrants. I think all will be happy with our payouts this year.

2nd-$4000.00
3rd-$2000.00
4th-1600.00
5th-$1500.00
6th-$1400.00
7th-$1300.00
8th-$1200.00
9th-$1100.00
10th-$1000.00
11th-15th $500.00
16th-200th $100.00
Another improvement will be on our 3 day weekend Calcutta we will be adding the last Sunday of the tournament into this Calcutta and the price will increase from $30.00 to $40.00. This Calcutta will still pay the top 3 Walleyes of each day for Sat. June 9, Sun. June 10th, Sat. June 16th, & Sun. June 17th. This Calcutta will still be a 90% pay out Calcutta. This Calcutta will be sponsored by C. Guenther Deck Restorations. The next improvement will be an addition of a new Calcutta for 2018. This Calcutta will be sponsored by Curly's Grill and Banquet Center on Ridge Rd. Lackawanna NY. This Calcutta will be $100.00 and run for the full 9 days of the tournament, with a 100% payback. This Calcutta will pay out the top 5 heaviest walleyes of the 9 days of the tournament (NOT 5 PER DAY). This Calcutta has the potential to pay out more than the main tournament.
