Re: Manual vs electric fillet knives
they are costly but the Bubba knife in either lithium battery or corded is my choice for electric knives. the battery knife seems to stay at full power after cleaning 12 fish in the 3# to 4# class...

i think i might just throw my 2 cents in. the best way to get to the Geneva ramp is to go towards the state park campgrounds then follow the signs to the boat ramp. once you make the turn into the...

Re: Trolling
I run my lite bite slide divers down to 65' set on a 4.5 setting which is about equal to a dipsy set on 3. I got my dive curve by running in 50' of water and letting out line until it started bumping...

Re: Trolling
I haven't fished it lately but in past years you got some great advice from pfk. you can catch fish in shallower water but most will be small or trash. normally this time of year I start at 74' and...

if your dipsy drops back faster than the lure it is destined to tangle. As the dipsy drops back it does so as fast as it gets line. but the lure is much lighter and it will suspend when the dipsy...

Re: walleye/monofilament line
if you want a line for inline boards you can use Trilene xl 12# but a lot of people want something a little more scratch resistance. if you're
running dipsy style divers you want 30# power pro. -
