Re: 5/19: Anybody do any good between SBI & KI?
The fish have been mostly deep. I see some suspended, but most have been tight to the bottom. I have been fishing down around 25’ in 30-35 fow. I was out that way on Saturday. Joined in the casting...

After the fog the last couple days it was great to be able to see…anything. Yesterday was so bad I couldn’t get out of the marina until about 10:00. Picked up a couple here, and there. Started...

Only the smaller ones. When you fillet them stay away from the skin a 1/4” or so. They have a layer of fat that if you leave on the skin makes them taste better. Of course if you’re frying them...

When traveling at high speeds you can come up on the nets quite quickly before you see them. If you’re trolling or drifting scan the lake ahead of putting your gear out. Binoculars are helpful. Most...

Main lake water temperature is around 42 depending on where you are. Sandusky 10 day forecast doesn’t have a low under 32 with an average high of 40. I’m sure there is no “real’ ice. Maybe a thin...

Thanks for the replies. Coming from home it’s 3 hours. I think I’m going inland for crappie instead. Shorter haul, and it’s going to be cold as well. Can’t wait to head south!

I was thinking of trailering back up tomorrow since the wind is dying down. Don’t know what to go for. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Most likely be 2 of us.

If it’s what I’m thinking they have them at Walmart in Port Clinton. You can get them with 2,or 3 hooks. A couple hook size, and color options. I have tried them. Occasionally work better than my go...

Fished south of rattlesnake. Moved a couple times. The bite was not what it was yesterday. Ended up with 16. Not the size that yesterday produced. All 9-10” with several throw backs. Same as...

Re: 10 3 2023 20 yellow gold SE of G can in 22 fow
You been killing those catfish! I hope they didn’t break any more poles. The big cats, and sheep are hard on little perch gear. I usually net them to prevent bending, or breaking rigs.

10/3 perch-a-Palouza!
Again today there were a couple packs. One SW of green. The other I joined S/SW of rattlesnake. I didn’t get started till 11:30, so I didn’t think it would be to good. Had my 30 by 3:00. Nice fish...

If you look at a map go from the south east point of rattlesnake, the north west point of south bass, and the water tower on middle bass. Everywhere in the area of the intersection of those waypoints...

Re: winds from the East fish bite the least ?
The wind is out of the east at 4-8. That’s practically no wind. Sooner or later they have to. As I’m posting I’m on the ferry to middle bass. 5 boats perching south of green at 4:30 on Friday. Maybe...

The first spot you mentioned. Off of East point. It runs out to the can. About half mile out. If you stay north you can stay in about 30’, but you have to veer to the north towards north bass if you...
