Re: Conneaut
Should not be too long. One of my buddies hammered them out of Cleveland yesterday in 45FOW on worm harnesses off dipseys.

Re: Trolling with binder clips and rubber bands
We played around with tons of releases and bands over the years. We have used Big Al’s releases and rubber bands for over 2 years now and have no complaints. Plus they guarantee them or they will buy...

A few of my buddies go out of Ashtabula with pretty much the same report I posted except they run dipseys and spoons. They got 4 man limit and 5 steelhead in a couple hours of fishing. They usually...

Re: Sunday to Wednesday
We have had decent days in May in 30-40FOW. Mostly resident walleye I would assume. The quicker the lake warms, the earlier the migration East. I was surprised to read about the hot bite in Erie in...

Great! That’s sounds like just about what we have been doing too on our trips. It’s been outstanding with the quality of keepers this year. Not very many under 20 inches and a lot of 24+ inchers....

I run wormburners at 2.5 with no issues. Guys say with harnesses, the blades are more speed sensitive than the worm ripping off. We did catch a few at 1.9 yesterday tho. Had a hard time gettting the...

I will get back to you in about an hour or so. I bought a HDS Carbon 12 on clearance and moved my other one to my trolling motor so the triple shot was too long to add to my motor. I just bought a...

Re: PA waters east of Erie
I had a camp for 20 years at Lakeside in NY and Northeast Marina is only about 3 miles west of NY/PA line off route 5. You don’t have to go too far out of the marina to be in deep water. Not like...

Re: Mentor Area 8/20
Yes tru trips will pull a lot harder. I have been running 40s at 170 back and 50s at 150 with success. You could also run dipsey at 0 or 1 at 90 to 100 to get you in the 42 to 45 foot range

I agree with mike. Remember that ultimately you want to be even with or above the fish your marking. They will go up to hit your baits but will rarely go down if your well below them. Trolling speed...

#11s. I usually run husky jerk 12s too but the bite was so good on the flickers that we never had a chance to put one on.
