Re: Trolling rods
Last year we switched everything from Cabela’s Depthmaster rods to their newer Cabela’s Prodigy rods and have been very satisfied. Still keep some of the heavier Depthmasters for trolling dipsies but...

Re: Lead
For Sale. I have a hand painted “walleye decoy” for sale. Very realistic and lifelike. It is 18 inches long and weighs 23 lbs 10 oz and is made entirely out of lead. Toss this bad boy in your live...

Re: Removing middle treble from Bandits
We went to the rubber net last year and it was better but still a pain. That, and so often the fish is hooked with two or three sets of trebles and that too is a pain when the bite is hot. There were...

Re: Following A Boat Trolling

Re: Removing middle treble from Bandits

Re: Following A Boat Trolling

Removing middle treble from Bandits
As much as we like Bandits, we spend a lot of time getting fish out of the net and seem to snag clothes, rags and carpet, etc. Does anyone have experience with removing the middle set of trebles?...

Re: Powerpro users
Yes. They were starting to run out of some some of the other # test line ( they were out of 20 lb green when I ordered) and some of the other colors especially in the smaller spool sizes.

Midway USA is currently running a special on Powerpro Spectra line. I just bought a 1500 yard spool for $99.98. Good deal just in time to respool everything for spring!

Re: What is your best PERCH Recipe?
I have them many different ways. Sometime fry the filets nice and crispy, sometimes sautéed in butter with some Old Bay seasoning, sometimes I used brined and smoked filets, but my favorite...

Re: What is your best PERCH Recipe?
Fried Perch is hard to beat but for something different from time to time I will make Perch Tacos. Just substitute Perch filets ( or any kind of mild whitefish) for your ground beef, add your...

Lure depth - boards vs flatlining
Is there a difference in depth of a bait if it trolled at 50 back behind a board or flatlined straight off the rod (assuming both rigs are set up with the same line, lure, speed, etc)? Seems like a...
