many articles on the internet on ways to salt minnows, Ohio DNR has a good one. Most have a brine to soak minnows in before salting. I did that before using the alcohol method, salting was a pain.

Don't worry about them dying, we never use a whole minnow anyway always cut in half. Drain water and put them in 91 % wintergreen rubbing alcohol, keep cool, works great.

Have a suspension shop install a pair of Timbrons (spelling?) to your rear end. I have a 2019 1/2 F150 that pulls a 25' fifth wheel with an 18' deep-v walleye boat behind it with no problems.
