11075 keeper perch this year:)
It was caught in Ontario waters and our record is 2.42, it was an awesome fish, .14lbs shy of our record and almost 1/2 pound short of Ohio. Wonder what it weighed pre spawn?
Wow... Very Nice !
If that was caught in Ohio, I believe it's be the new record.

Would need a new electric knife after cleanin that batch, looks great though. Wish our limit was 50 in Ohio again, seems it would make it more bearable with the prices now-a- days. Mike
Here's a couple from the sand bar in front of Vermillion from last year
Yeah, I wish it were a $60 bill. That'd cut my fuel bill in half. That's if I do no running around on the water.
It's all in that drive for the big fish and that thrill of "fish on".

Im wondering how many years it takes a perch to get 12+ inches.
Interesting. Thanks for the reply Skipper.
Here is an eastern basin fish. Got it memorial day weekend, in about 63 feet of water. (typical for this end of lake) I wish I could say I got this is from a secret honey hole that constantly produces, but in all honesty I was going out to a spot I had fished before, started puttering around until I marked some fish, and dropped anchor. My 12 year old daughter pulled this up first fish of the day:

It was 14 1/2 inches. The fish to the upper right is 12 inches. If you look carefully, you can see something sticking out of the big one's mouth ,it's not a female with eggs, here is what I found inside of the stomach: (warning, gorey pic ahead!)

I'm pretty sure that upper bait fish is a goby!
Here is some 13's with the tail pinch on a couple. Best perch catch of the year on my boat 60 in 6 hours last friday. We had to earn them but they were real nice for around the islands.

ok,,, heres some of my big ones...:D
Caught this one early this spring while crappie fishing. I was surprised to catch a perch in fairly shallow water near shore, let alone one this big.
We Eastern Basiners would need a 14"-15" page my personal best was 16.5" in 55 foot of water off Sturgeon Pt. NY.
