Tonight and the next 4 nights, I am sleeping in a cottage that has a porch that cantilevers out over Deep Creek Lake in Maryland. There where a lot of ice shanties out there today... However, I brought the kids to ski as Wisp Ski Resort. I didn't realize that they ice fish here and left all my gear at home!

I've seen your post before Matt do you get out on the Erie ice often? Seems you know what your doing out there I'd like to tag along if you'd have it. I want to learn that lake, and how things work on it, meaning ice,wind,safety, and of course the fish.
