wanting to hit the ice but need some advice
I am fairly new to the Cleveland area. All my hard water fishing has been done in Canada. I'm wanting to hit the ice but would prefer to follow someone out the first few times I go. Where is a good spot to get on the ice where there's good traffic I can follow.

Go west, young man.
Catawba Island State Park will have a crowd to follow if the weather is right.

Yep. Catawba and a few other areas out West will have hundreds of tail lights to follow off the beach. Catawba, crane creek, Camp Perry should all be online this year. Check in here for launch sites being used. Get there we'll before daylight or you won't get a parking spot on weekends.
There will be hundreds of snowmobiles and quads going out and none of them own the ice, so just follow them. Stay on the paths and don't go "trailblazing" on your own.
