    it's the berkley power slug. currently out of production, but still available on e-bay. black was the ticket last year, but in years past, pumpkinseed has done the job. we throw this in 1 to 4 feet of water in the northwest bay, with baitcasting reels spooled with 50/20 spiderwire. hit every stump and every lily pad. lilys are hard to see on m-day. texas rig with a straight shafted hook into the belly slot. fish fast and on top, or slow for lethargek fish. losing my regular "flood" buddy. he is active duty air force and pcs'n to mountain home idaho. hoping to hook up with other flood vets. good luck to you guys.
