Best Line for Trolling With Dipsy Divers
I apologize if this question has already been asked on here, as I would imagine that it has. I am new to the site and also new to Lake Erie fishing. I'm looking for some input as to what is the best line for trolling Dipsy Divers. I've heard some say braided line is a must, and others swear by mono saying that it is more forgiving. Proponents of mono seem to claim that they lost more fish on the braid. I do have the Dipsy Snubbers, so I'm also wondering what your thoughts are on them. If used with braid, does this provide a good system for trolling Dipsy's? I will be using mostly spoons, and crawler harnesses with an occasional crank bait.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts & opinions on this subject. Thanks in advance.
