oak harbor area docks
Good afternoon, We are new to the site, hopefully I dont start out making a new posting in the wrong forum. We just moved back to the central ohio area. Have lived and fished Saginaw bay for the past several years. Prior to Saginaw Bay, I fished lake Erie. We live near Mount Gilead, Ohio, and are wanting to place our 21 foot wellcraft at a dock in the oak harbor area. Before I do so, are there any areas/ marinas that would be a problem water depth wise that I shoud be be cautious of using. Not asking anyone to bad mouth any marinas, just want to know which ones may be my better choice.
Have done my share of walleye/ perch fishing. I doubt that I can add any
actuall fishing knowledge that you dont already have on this site, but I can assure you that I will post as well as share info via radio regarding our fishing.
Thanks for reading this LONG WINDED post, Ray & NancyLast edited by nan sea lee; 05-12-2013 at 12:43 PM. Reason: Last name was probably not needed

Beef creek marina is in oak harbor. Fairly cheap. Floating docks. Has a nice fish cleaning area. Everybody is nice there. They have a few open docks left

dockage
Plenty of canal space and newly dredged canal. Fenwick , Turtle Creek both have some open docks and Wild Wings just down the road 1 mile has open docks. Large full service marinas with fuel docks and some with electric and water. Base this decision on the size of boat and Turtle Creek Canal has a bridge to go under but I never have a problem with the 30 Sportcraft. Prices are fair for what you get. I have used these marinas for many years.

Just wanted to clarify that all of the marina's that have been mentioned by all of the members are or would be great choices.

oak harbor dock
Thanks again to everyone, We drove up today and looked at docks in several marinas. Ended up getting a dock at Fenwick. Moving the boat up there next week. As mentioned in my original post, will be more than glad to share our fishing info when we finally get on the water. Ray & Nancy
