Lowrance Elite-5 DSI GPS

Anyone currently using the Lowrance Elite-5 DSI GPS combo ?
I ordered it and just got it in ( can't wait to get home from work ).
Any hints to installing it easier ? Any tips on operation ?
Has it been a good unit ?
I am hoping it is a good unit for a beginner.

Hoss: I too just bought the same fish finder/chartplotter to use on Lake Erie. Does you or anyone know if the unit comes with Lake Erie pre-installed on it? Do I have to purchase any SD cards?

Hoss as far as installation it seems pretty easy. It was reccomened that we install them outside of the hull to provide the best DSI imaging.
