long story short im gonna start doing my own oil changing lower unit plugs and winterizing where is a good place to buy everything I need

Walmart and some auto zones have merc quicksilver lower unit oil. Plugs auto zone. If your run a for stroke main engine or kicker that idles a lot don't skimp, by the better merc or whatever kind synthetic blend or equivalent manufactures recommended oil.

Milt. We all know that the big box stores can give you better prices. But here's my opinion. I like supporting the local boat / marine dealers. Yes you probably will pay more, but. Sometime when you may and will need a little help with a quick question you have a source to ask. The more they see you the quicker and more willing they will help you. And if you need their assistance the price will reflect that. It's the old pay me now or pay me later scenerio. That's just my openion.
