Boards big advantage?
Last time I tried Erie, unbelievably I forgot my planers boards. I fished lead core 3 4 and 5 colors in 60-70 feet and caught two nice ones
in 6 hours of fishing. Do they really give you a big extra edge when fishing deeper than 50 feet? Just wondering cause they do take up a
lot of space before you put them in water.

Run the the boards they let you cover more water and better line separation. Plus getting away from boat noise is always good , good luck . If forecast is right it'll be nice out there for sure.
