    Default Golden park program permit

FYI, to any of the older gentlemen here (over age 62) , you can get a Golden park permit which lets you get into & launch at any of the state parks & boat launches for free during the week Mon. - Fri. across the state. including the SBH., down at the Catt., Silver lk., All the finger lks. All the state ones on Lk. Ontario. I had one last yr. & they just sent me a renewal application for this yr. You can send to; Western District , Genesee Region, One Letchworth State Park, Castile, NY. 14427 to get an application.

Maybe call Roland Beck, at 585-493-3600 or www.nysparks.com.

    Go get 'em!!

Default Stamped sales slip for live bait ?

Will Elliott had in his news article Sunday that if you are ice fishing lk.Erie you need to have a stamped sales slip for your live bait. What's up with this, are we back to certified bait again ??

Dec has been being a bunch of a holes lately so I've heard. Busting people for riding double on atvs. Ticketing people for 2 many lines by calling tipdowns handlines instead of them being considered tip ups

The Department has been working with states to enhance their drivers licenses and identification documents to comply with travel rules under the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI), effective June 1, 2009.
Enhanced drivers licenses make it easier for U.S. citizens to cross the border into the United States because they include

    • a vicinity Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chip that will signal a secure system to pull up your biographic and biometric data for the CBP officer as you approach the border inspection booth, and
    • a Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) or barcode that the CBP officer can read electronically if RFID isn't available.

So, basically, if you have a driver's license with the magnetic strip on the back, you already carry an "enhanced driver's lic". Most states already have these in production. Ohio, MI, WI, IN, i know have these already.

This is not a big deal.
