how about a little background from all
I figure it's kinda interesting to know what site members do so I started this thread to give us all a chance to share, it could be useful for all and interesting to see how varied a group we are. I myself do everything there is involved in concrete from production to placement and finishing. I work for a small concrete company, I am mechanic, electrician, concrete mixer driver, laborer, fabricator, batch plant maintenance etc. I do custom stamp concrete to commercial jobs. When things go smooth it's fun but when things go wrong my phone rings and i gotta go like if a mixer goes down on the highway loaded with 9 yds of crete it's up to me and whitecity another member to drop everything and go repair or recover truck or make repairs to batch plant the concrete needs to be made to make money. I'll also add whitecity is very marine knowledgeable as well as mechanically inclined. So i guess I'm a jack of all trades a master of none lol but love what i do.

I haven't decided what I want to be when I Grow UP. NO wait - I know "retired". I've been in heavy industry most of my life. A mechanical helper, a oiler, a fork truck operator, a millwright, a welder, a burner, a electrician, a sub foreman, a Forman, a planner, an expediter, crane operator, maintenance supervisor at a water park, purchasing person, Wow 40 years goes fast.
Bailey - are you taking resumes?
I respect the trades.
Looks like rain all day & into the night probably gonna be a lot of BS on there today. Work all week and weekends been sucky.

Electrical lineman for 40 yrs./Retired now. Perfer the retired part, I get to chose the type of weather I go out in & the time of day/night I go out in it! Many storms & bad weather over 40 yrs. Now I fish, hunt, & watch the grass grow.
