2013 hunting thread

The rut has really amped up now at any part of the day here on the west side of Monroe county. Duck hunting been good too. Teal and woodys are still hangin around. Good Hunting everyone.

For sure on the amped up, lots of chasing going on. My son in law stuck a nice 6 pt. but he stopped bleeding & we couldn't find him. We looked til dark & went back the next day but no luck.

Unfortunatly, work and the clocks going back have really screwed me for weekday hunting.

Yes most definatly. But my time out and chance to nail that slob I've been after are cut down dramatically. I live not far from work and hunt my property behind my house , so I was hunting almost every day after work.

Try AM before work, get him & call in sick! Or tell he where to get him! lol

Yeah I know. But I have a hard enough time getting up for work much less getting up earlier to shiver in my tree stand. Then go to work all day. Lol. He's somewhere in the west side of Elma.
