curious question, describe yourself fishing.
What i mean is how do you react to situations as they happen. Like when actions hot i get in a mode that is full of swearing and fast reaction yelling to grab rods. Or if person driving while i set lines starts veering off i always say something smarta$$ about it but mostimes i am threading a needle so to say with lines. I wind up pretty high strung but maybe thats why fishing is relaxing. I know one or 2 of ya can make this interesting for a thread. Give them a good example FISHKILLER. Lol.

When the action is fast & we are catching fish I am netting & setting lines in a super mood! When the fishing is slow I get down fast & ready to quit. I really get down when I hear radio chatter & everyone but me are getting fish & I can't figure out the pattern. My crew say my mood is much better when catching fish.

I go through ALL of if the feelings that have been mentioned. But then I think of what someone told me one time. " it's just great go be out here. Out in nature. Adapt to what she gives you. Doing what you like to do. If we catch fish it s a bonus."
For the record it was my fellow co-worker, fishing partner, one time boss, and friend Marty. He is no longer with us but not forgotten. I don't want to get sentimental.
PS he use to get pissed at me for not steering straight, etc., etc., etc. The SOB.

For me it's mostly relaxing out there, until that moment you feel a big heavy weight on the end of the line and you know you have something big. Heart starts pumping, it's almost like I'm out bow hunting and see a shooter buck headed my way. Game on!
Not catching fish at all becomes frustating, like I've got a puzzle piece and can't figure it out. For something that is supposed to be relaxing, this can be full of highs and lows.
I'm old enough now that I appreciate each day out there regardless.

One thing my friend always tells me. Everytime he fishes with me makes him a better fisherman. So I gotta be doing something right. Lol. Or maybe it's because I stop fishing. Hehe
