Nice! I am trying to get out on a weekday last week too wavy this week looks even worse. Bah!
Same thing happened to me when I fished last, small ones at first then they got bigger really weird. I didn't move change depth baits or anything. It was almost like the big ones slept in and got up later haha.
Did you launch from the cat area? I haven't launched there yet not sure what it's like.

9/15 We kept about 40 perch, with decent avg. size, so were able to get picky on what we kept. Tossed back a bunch of small ones. We were about 6 mi. west of SP in 70 FOW
9/16 kept around 30 with a MUCH smaller avg. than the day before. We were about 7 mi. SW of SP in 65-70 FOW

We launched at the dec. ramp. We put in a 20' alum. i/o boat, just the one center roller bracket towards the front of the trailer hit the ramp a bit on the so. side of the ramp. Coming out we used the no. side of ramp with no problem. I don't think you would want to get the tires off the pipes of the ramp, then you might not get out.

thx lineman thats good info, I am using an 18' i/o myself. Is the parking lot not very big? Just wondering what you do if it gets full. Probably not much to worry about outside of memorial to labor day.

We just pulled are boats out of the creek there it's the best launch there right now cause the water is so.low on the no. Side of the no.ramp there's a smaller pipe sticking up DONT let your trailer tires pass it about 2 ft.dropoff
