Ended up with two yesterday. One weigher - 29 inches 8.74 lbs. The other one was about 25 inches. We got them off of Purina towers about 65 ft. We got 4them on Sunday. Didn't weigh any on Sun. A lot of trolling for a few fish. We also picked up the several lakers, white perch, silver bass & of coarse a few Mr. SHEEPHEAD.

Purina Towers are just on the outskirts of Dunkirk. As you look at Dunkirk from the water from the water it's on the left. There are two cement towers. One has the Purina symbol ( red and white checks ) on it. I guess you would say east of the city pier. Center Rd. is further east of Dunkirk towards Cattaraugus Creek. Probably half ways. From the lake Center Road looks like a definate cut in the trees from Rt 5 right up to the top of the hill.

Thanks joe. I've never really fished that far down. Usually don't go past Catt. I'm taking it that all the big fish weighed in were from down that way? What did you get the lakers on? How deep were you running your lines?

We got the lakers on a spoon and a Rynoskys. About 60 ft down in 90 ft of water. Some were 50 ft down in 70 ft of water. This was off downriggers.
I really don't know where the bigger fish have been coming from. In the past years they have come from many different spots. It's a big lake and there are a lot of big fish all over it.
