I'm in the same boat as you....been out 4 times...caught one goby and one small small mouth bass...no daytime walleye action on this end yet, even finding them is challenge.

On the western end of the lake they are still having a smashfest with the walleye's....we need go to Port Clinton Ohio!.....google captain Ross Robertson

Only need to go to Barcelona, so I hear. Maybe I have to make the trip there.

Hit Dunkirk yesterday am before the rain, well mostly as got soaked tying boat down. Got 2 walleyes, a nice perch and a bunch of white bass. Found walleyes in 60-65ft water on harnesses and a chatterstick off the downrigger (not sure how long he was riding along, as it never tripped). Tried in shallower as that is where I heard the best intel but the found the best marks out deeper, should have stayed deeper and might have gotten more. Fish were suspended (5 color lc and downrigger set at 30 got the fish).

I launched out of Sturgeon at 6 AM. Went straight out to 50 feet marked a ton of fish in between 60 and 70 feet. Ran riggers, dipseys and 4 and 5 color. Caught two eyes, two silvers and a perch.
One eye on 4 color and the other on 5. Did not get another bite after 12. Quit at 1.
