That"s interesting. We should get data from them. We could then plan our tripd with the data.I figured tthat they are new.
Hey overthelimit you'd think you pee'd in someones cheerios, i see lol shame on you bashing lol. Some people have no humor. Sorry guys who don't know what i am jokin about but some of you do.
Yeah, things get misunderstood over the Internet. You make one little comment and people take it out of context, take it personal when I meant no harm.
All, As a little background I have run charter boats on Lake Ontario on and off for the past 20 years. I have talked to and worked with allot of fisherman and Captains over the years and as a rule, good information is hard to come by.
Now I fish for fun with my wife off a modest 18 ft Century. We decided a few weeks back that we would like to try some Lake Erie Walleye fishing, at which time I found this forum that talked about how good the fishing has been at Sturgeon Point. So we came and caught 10 Eyes over the weekend that we were very happy with.
The following weekend it was rough on Saturday so we got out Sunday for a few hours and did a couple more, not as good as the week before but still lots of fun.
Last weekend we came back and went to SP, fished for 11 hours for one 2 pounder eye and at last 50 silver bass (grrrrr). So that night I jumped on the internet and looked this forum back up. I found several post saying that the fish had moved and Dunkirk was a better deal so Sunday we splashed in Dunkirk. After talking to another fisherman at the launch and he shared some more good information we went out and had a great day
6 9-10 lbs, and 2 3-4 lbs WNW of Dunkirk 110 - 120 fow. Sticks worked great in the AM then they shut down but that was OK since the Worm Harnesses started to work (Purple).
Thank you all for helping someone that travels and giving us enough info to put some nice fish in the box.
See you this weekend

Jim, what have you heard about the leadcore made by sufix 832® Advanced Leadcore, 30% more dive.
I started running it and prefer it over copper. I get 7/8 feet per color depending on speed.
sufix says 30% more sink
http://www.rapala.com/832-Advanced-L...id=sufix-braid10 color sufix 65-70FOW might be good for the deep runners late season.
Evolution - Fishkiller - Evolution. :)
Do you still use Yellow Sally's?????
Think about it???
The leadcore my grandparents used to use they said was 62 or 65lbs and was 10 ft depth per color.
My dad still talks about casting yellow sallys in the shallows for perch back in the day.
that's all my dad used to blue pike back in the day also he stills talks about them they probally still work
My dad used yellow Sallies & would come home with burlap bags full of blue pike in his trunk. They were great eating then but I guess it would have been better if "they" would have left a few more in the lake back then! :(
So... Does anyone have a picture of a yellow sally they could post? Besides this one? Attachment 1144
Some I tied with stinger hooks...

Wow very nice job!
You can find a good article on Yellow Sallies on Outdoors Niagara website.
Great posts guys. I'm laughing so hard I have tears in my eyes.
We have not heard from Fishkiller yet. That's scary.
Jim got some OT given to him compliments of nys, so bust em while he's away lol. So this is first weekend in a while i won't be out feel guilty but relaxed also lol. I may make later trip to the big O depends on my timing getting a gasket tomorrow. Also if i hear there is a good bite.
Well we won the first game of the best of three in the finals. We won 16-4. And I didn't even keep score.
Copo you do have unusual fine taste for different drinks.:p
congrats on the game capt my neighbor went to west virgina he brings back shine every year its so good
Lol. I've never been a well drinker. My sister made that batch. It was ok. Problem with that stuff is it goes down to good. That shine you buy in the store is gross. I tolerate it but I hate that it dries you out. Whenever you wake up with your tongue stuck to the roof of your mouth, it's a bad afternoon. Lol
Joe congrats. So you just have to win one more?
I got out today. Late, but it is what it is.:) started a little west if SP and trolled east. Saw fish on the graph. No hits, nothing, zilch. :( used worm harnesses jets and fish seeker.
Barry did you hit 200?
Fishkiller did you hit and surpass 1999:o
Oh ya my report we boxed 9 today 41/17-40/21 10 color, dipsy's, and riggers a mix of harnesses and sticks. The Kishel's was on fire today, we boxed 2 over 9 1 around 8,& a high 7. A huge thanks to the Bud Man crew we had a blast today.
Not yet Joe LOL, getting close tho, been a good year for sure. Boxed 7 today using 10 color and dipsys, mix of harnesses and spoons, no sticks. purple has been the color of choice lately. I can see you next year retired putting up big #s. good luck at your next game, win one for team walleye.com
Ok the weather sucks. :( I got rained out. Now I have to wait until Friday to play game 2. :o It looks like bad weather for the next couple of days.
So did any one find any Yellow Sally's? How about Pink Ladies?
For you youngsters. A Pink Lady was a deep diving device similar to a Fish Seeker or a deep 6 diver or jet diver. I got it y e a r s ago. Can't remember when I used it last but I have it in the tackle box.:D
