No. My last few launches were out of Catt Creek, messing around with perch in that 55-65 water column.
So, have a quick question. This year was my 1st year with lead core. I was running an 8’6” Eyecon off each side. I want to add a 3rd (maybe even a 4th as well) presentation come next year. Both rods are on the sport trac system that Lund has on their boats.
That 3rd rod? Would one recommend say a 6ft rod with lead core off the side or a non lead core rod off the back with a snap weight?

Good choices. The more rods in the water equates to increasing your catch percentage. As long as you are legal. Last year you couldn't get all your lines in the water without getting a fish or two. I usually run two dipsys and lead core off one side and one dipsy and two leadcore off the other. Sometimes a downrigger too depending on how many people in the boat.
I'm all shrink wrapped. and already miss going out there. Gonna be a L O N G winter.Current flotation devices:

Good stuff. Yeah, this past season (1st with lead core) I was so focused on precise presentation with the 832 Advanced (real) dive rate per color, patterns and tempo of usually being a solo angler.
Once I dialed everything in and got comfortable as a lead core fisherman I figured 3-4 lines out should be within my comfort level as a solo angler on a decent day.
It was probably more to my educational benefit that this was a slower year that became detail oriented iterations. Either way, still had some very nice days out there til the bite was more out west.
Definitely ready for some ice fishing tho soon...hopefully very soon!!!

Merry Christmas TO ALL! I took a ride by the SBH the other day and saw a few also. Some were tandem axle trailers so I assume that they were bigger boats. I wonder if it was anyone here from this site?
