Attachment 759 haha too funny
I took a ride by Sturgeon Pt. this morning. There were two boats out on the lake. It was misting / light snow with a little bit off wind. There was one launching dock in and a few signs "very low water" & "sandbar at mouth of harbor". I couldn't tell how deep it was at the mouth. Anyone going out of the Small Boat Harbor?
Thanks Joe for the info, if weatherman is correct (ha) I may sneak out fishing on tuesday, good to hear there is still a dock in. Those "very low water" signs have been there a while, I'm thinking with all the rain we had it has to be a little deeper than a couple of weeks ago.
The weather buoy has been pulled for the year btw.
I saw that about the Weather Buoy. It's a sad day. They must have closed the shipping season for the year. I think that when they put it out of service for the year. I check that info 10 times a day.
I think my hopes of still fishing are fading fast. This weather hasn't cooperated with my days off since sept. lol. I was hopin for an eye outing and maybe a Muskie outing too. But.
I can't believe the weather we've been getting. Has anyone been out? I seen 4 empty trailers,at the small Boat Harbor yesterday. When we were getting all the wind I kinda put out the possablity of gettin out on the lake. Just when you give up we get this nice weather. Go figure. Now the boat is winterized and out to bed for a few months.
sbh was packed today no room to park another trailor bunch of boats by the south gap and in the river
