7/11 Tough day
We launched out of the Rocky River about 9:00 am and headed towards the crib until we hit 38' and put out lines out. We ran four harnesses, back two on 30 jets and the front two on 40 jets. We picked a spot off the downtown skyline and headed in that direction, we were marking fish all over the screen, a lot near the bottom or just up a little. We got one 3# walleye in 41' FOW, 1.9-2.1 mph, 65' back on a 40 jet a little east of Lakewood park and a lot of white bass for the rest of the day. We tried 38'-42' FOW until we got back near the Rocky River and then went north to try deeper water for a little while and still only white bass. Tried different lengths of line out and small spoons and DDRR but still no walleye. Tough day for fishing but a very nice day on the water with my Dad and a couple friends.
