The Park ramp is good for smaller boats and is closer to the lake than motoring down the river. I used the park ramp a few years ago there was a lot of silt washed in was a little shallow.
For larger boats the ARU ramp up the river may be better.
As far as the fishing goes.
They have been getting fish east and west of the harbor in 40-45 ft.
We were out Sunday with the family 11 am to 3 pm only caught 1 walleye 27"-6.8 lbs. 42ft of water east about 5 miles
The best bit is early before the sun is too high.
Seen nets flying on and off while we were out and nice coolers at the ramp.
