Good job Butcherman sounds like those boards were working for you yesterday. We were in the same general area. We ended up working a school about 2 miles from the line in a little closer, 62 to 65 FOW doing pretty good for us.
We pulled dispys and downriggers with crawler harnesses all day, dipsy’s did most of the work. We brought 14 home with 2 lost at the net.
Dispy’s vs boards being easier, I’m not sure. I think any program has its +/-. Difficultly we still have is tangles bring them in. We had twice yesterday cut and retie tangles.24' Caravelle

Average amount of junk I guess. When using crawlers I expect to drag a few small bass around. We checked lines often to make sure, mostly if we seen large schools. If a line didn't go off we would check every 30 mins or so.
Your boards you were using, are they inline or big boards?24' Caravelle

Walker planer boards that's the way I learned to troll up there it usually has good results , would like to use more harness's guess I could run jet divers or weight them off the boards. I was running harness's off my down riggers picked a couple off them but got a lot of junk off them too
