Geneva update
I got little help from you fishermen out there about walleye in closer so I found them myself this AM. Instead of running 18 miles, I only had to go 12 to find suspended fish. Starting at the 42.01.5N and 54W and trolling north on that line, 50TT back 160' with silver and blue herringbone Junior Thundersticks at 1.8 mph, was done at the 42.05.5. and it wasn't even 10:00 AM. Sometimes dreams do come true. With the fish cleaned I am off with my family to the Greek festival in Warren. Opa!!!!

Of things to come
Sounded like a great morning. I read that the walleye fishing is really improving up your way. In past years when the action heated up at your end the walleye fishing cooled off in the west. I only had nine eyes yesterday but 24 Thursday at the buoy north of Vermilion. We were drift fishing, though. Maybe some of those fish will stay west. www.eriecaptain.com
