Perch Fairport Harbor
Went out today with the wife, daughter and her boyfriend. Only my daughter caught a fish and it was a white bass.
Guys coming off the lake searching for walleyes said it was terrible.
Those coming off the lake searching for perch said the same thing. The guy at the bait store said they weren't schooling yet. So, when does that start?
After about 3 hours of this crap I took the kids "tubing" off Mentor Headlands.
Saw a lot of floating fish and looked down and just under the water in about 8 feet of water was a walleye. I almost grabbed my net.
I hope fishing gets better soon.
I have never seen so many jet skis.
