Id save a little more and go on a head boat. Not discuraging someone from tring something new, but... I have a 24' and sometimes I wish it was bigger. Its went from calm, to 4''s and I wish I'd stayed home. Fishing is fun, but saftey is #1. Personal Message me. I have a radio and antenna I sell you cheap. Good luck fishing, this weekend looks somewhat flat, but as we all know that Mother Nature can change things fast.
