Great fishing in Lorain

Went out Sunday morning and started at 31/11 picked up a welleye that was 27" on a gold harness with a berkley gulp worm off a 40 jet 120 back. Didn't fish for eyes for too long, wanted to get some perch. Moved in to 29.9/12.2 near a small pack. It was up and down. I was using frozen minnows and the perch were slamming them. I was a little surprised that they were still in that close. I was expecting to move to deeper water, but I was happy. Did't get a chance to go out Monday, was my son's birthday. Great day off Lorain!!

I was out for perch this weekend in the same area. Limit sunday off of beaver park, 1.75 mi N. Monday farther east toward lorain in 39 fow, limit again. Tuesday, off of the hospital in 37 fow, limit again ! Gotta love it !
