Went out Sunday for some Walleye. Started west of Lorain, about half a mile from Beaver Creek. 27.8/14.9 trolling north east into the waves at 1.8 to 2.1mph. The first fish came on a floresent green crawler harness on a 40 jet 85ft back. Then started to pick up junk fish and switched to spoons. The next two were on 40 jets 120ft back and 85ft back. One on dark purple with red and bronze back, the other, red with gold and bronze back. The sheephead were hitting everything I had out but seemed to stop when I pick up speed and went a little faster. The biggest walleye was 26"!! There was a lot of boat traffic so be carefull out there. Only got three fish, but I will take that for the first walleye trip of the year. Hope this helps.
