Fairport Perch
Went out Saturday May 21, NW of Fairport in 39' to 51' of water caught 17 perch from 10:30 to 2:00. Slow pickings.
Looking to get back out this coming weekend, but looking for walleye reports from this area. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance,

Fairport Harbor Perch - 5/30/11
Went out today from Fairport Harbor from 8:30 to 2:30. Fishing started off good and started to become bad around 1:30 to 2:00. We were about 2 miles NW of the Lighthouse in 41 feet of water. Only kept perch that were 10 - 13 inches long.
Got about 25 nice ones.
Man, the brown water around the break wall and debris in the Lake was unbelievable. Don't know if there was an accident or not, but saw personal items floating in the water such as sun lotion, a cooler, a 5 gallon pail, lots of paperwork, flags, etc. The Coast Guard was even close to the lighthouse with their lights on with some large debris.
They were saying on the radio that they were picking them at 51 feet of water also, but we didn't go out that far.
When the west wind was going, fishing was good. When it calmed down or the wind shifted from south to north it died.
Perch rigs and shiners was the way to go.
